Welcome
I grew up in Northeast China, spent twelve years in Beijing and now call Chengdu home. Most tables in Chengdu give you Dongbei comfort food or Sichuan heat. I'd love to give you both.
About me
My kitchen tells the story of half of China. Over dinner, let's talk about daily life, food culture and where you've been. Before you leave, I'll map out my favourite snack streets, teahouses and neighbourhood spots.
Languages
I speak English and Mandarin.
Outside the kitchen
I love hiking, brewing pour-over coffee and wandering local wet markets looking for whatever's freshest.
Travel experience
I've travelled across China from the far northeast to the southwest, and abroad to Japan, Thailand and beyond. Travelling taught me what a seat at a local table means to a visitor far from home.

Yes I enjoyed it. He is a nice guy, and we talked about different things. He is a very good cook, and I like his food a lot. I didn't know if I have misunderstood something but the food was not ready before 19.30 and I was invited to 18.30. That's the only thing I can say bad about it. I will for sure do it again.
