I grew up in Northeast China, spent twelve years in Beijing, and now call Chengdu home — which means my kitchen tells the story of half of China. One night you might get hearty Dongbei comfort food; the next, proper Sichuan heat. Most tables in Chengdu can only give you one of those. I'd love to give you both.

Yes I enjoyed it. He is a nice guy, and we talked about different things. He is a very good cook, and I like his food a lot. I didn't know if I have misunderstood something but the food was not ready before 19.30 and I was invited to 18.30. That's the only thing I can say bad about it. I will for sure do it again.
