Meet Danial & Helen

Hear Danial & Helen's story in their own words

We are Danial and Helen, both close to seventy.

Forty years ago we both worked at the Hangzhou Art Company. Later we left to run our own small antique shop, which is where the collection came from. Twenty years ago we went to West Africa to work in the timber import trade, and we have since retired back to Hangzhou.

We have kept a few pieces from the antique shop years, and we are always happy to show them to guests who are curious about Chinese painting, calligraphy and carving.
